Bernard has 2 ton of fish for sale.20-40lb 25000 euros per ton.

During July Aug and Sept Bernard has been layed low with a bad back and so not to many reports but the fishing has been good with many 40 50 and the odd 60 being caught! Also biggest cat 63lb.
Oct update.Paul Wheeler fished the cabins for three nights from 24_27 oct catching a total of 10 fish. 5x20 4x30 and 1x 44lb! . By the way i recived a phone call this morning from jean saying she had just caught a 53lb common! Report to follow.

Plus another call from Jean today 6th November, she caught a 58lb common this morning.

Bonjour Bernard
Four of us fished the back lake last week from Monday 5th May through to Friday 9th May and landed 34 fish between us (the last day and a half were a bit slow as they had started spawning). This included 6 fish in the 30's and 1 just over 40lb
The attached pictures are of the biggest fish which were caught by Chris Florey (the 38lb Mirror being his personal best) and myself (the 40lb8oz being my personal best) fishing just off the point in front of the lodge on the back lake.
Sorry that some of the pictures do not do justice to the sheer size of these fish although I am particularly pleased with the one of the 37lb8oz common.
We hope to visit again next year.

Returned once again from another superb session on the back lake from the 22nd to 26th May. All in i had 16 runs in 4 days, landed fish of 22lb, two at 23lb, a superb 25lb common and a new P.B. for me of 41lb mirror. lost 6 and landed 5 bream to 4lb. superb fishing, many thanks for a great long weekend, even Jess enjoyed herself and she doesn't fish! hope to see you later in the year for another session and i'm after a 50 next time!

Hi Bernard,
Thanks for a great week fishing again, this is the third year I have come to DDI now and the fishing gets better every year, we stopped in the Lodge on the Main Lake again.
Altogether, I caught 11 fish and lost 7. 5 catfish, the biggest being 30 pounds and 6 mirror carp.
21lb, 24lb, 28lb, 36lb, 40lb and a great 53lbs – not beaten my PB after catching a 57lbs last year, but more than happy !

NOT SO COMMON ALL GARDEN DREAMS

  After 6 years of fishing at DOMAINE DES ILES, I was starting to wonder if it would ever happen to me, after all the fish are awesome.

I have had some multiple catches at the venue in the last 6 years :

-         40 fish in a week half of them 30lbs+, half good twenties. -         Last August a week, I struggled but that fishing, you can lead a horse to water but you cannot make him drink. I had 7 in that week but was blessed with quality,

 2 good 20+ - 3 x 30+ to 37 and a stunning 42 common plus a 46 mirror.

  So, I finally arrived on May 9^th 2008 set up with my partner Yvonne, yes the lady in my life is gracious enough to accompany me.   We started in Tarin Cabin had a 35 cat + lost one. Over the next few days things were slow as hot weather + spawning fish seemed to halt proceedings. A move saw a few more fish several 30+ cats and 35+ mirrors + common. Moved again for the 4^th and last time, if I moved again Yvonne may have left me bless her so into Cabin Loriot. Rained so hard I nearly built an ark. Had a lovely 33 mirror in the night then had a fish that took all my rods out and lost it. Awoke to find about a dozen fish feeding 20 meters out fizzing and head and shouldering out of the water. The shopping was cancelled. I quickly put the baits out within 20 minutes, I was holding a 35 pound mirror for the camera. 10 minutes after that the right hand rod roared off after a hard fought 15 minutes of give and take.  … I netted an enormous stunning common. I quickly unhooked and weighed it or tried to 52..

Yes … 52 pound of not so common carp it had happened to me finally so with a grin from here to there and nearly putting my back out my prize was held aloft for the photographer Yvonne and as you can see, Yvonne did me proud :
